Climate Change Anxiety Scale
The Climate Change Anxiety Scale – Short-form (CCAS-S) is a brief, four-item measure designed to assess experiences of climate anxiety among adolescents. Adapted from the original 13-item Climate Change Anxiety Scale (CCAS; Clayton & Karazsia, 2020), the CCAS-S was developed in consultation with adolescents to ensure the measure reflected experiences relevant to this age category. The CCAS-S assesses cognitive-emotional and functional impacts associated with climate change and was validated among Canadian adolescents aged 15–18.
